Prabowo Aims To Build Justice And Prosperity For The Entire Indonesian People
Harian Id. Prabowo Subianto Candidate number 02 held a meeting with his fellow soldiers in Atambua, Belu, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Those who were pro-integration fighters of East Timor to the NKRI and the East Timorese Seroja fighters.
At that opportunity, Prabowo explained, that he had long wanted to visit Atambua to meet his comrades. However, this is the first time Prabowo can visit and reminisce with his comrades.
"I see the faces of old friends, friends who fought under the red and white flag and I understand the sacrifices of all of you are very big and your struggle is truly extraordinary," said Prabowo.
Prabowo also had time to discuss that now there are many business elite in Jakarta that do not respond to the struggles of the Indonesian people in East Timor. Meanwhile, the people have sacrificed a lot of their lives, property and family to be able to defend the prominence of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Many elites in Jakarta do not understand that you do not understand the struggles and sacrifices of all of you. Let alone the sacrifices of the brothers, the suffering of the people of Indonesia in other places even in the capital city themselves they do not understand, even do not understand or pretend not to understand, "he said.
Prabowo was frankly touched by the loyalty of the Indonesian people in East Timor who have now stopped at the border area in Atambua, because they have been loyal to the Indonesian nation and state. Therefore, Prabowo aims to build justice and prosperity for all the people of Indonesia.
"I still remember what happened to you. You sacrifice everything, your life, your family, your property, your land, but you still remain loyal to this Republic of Indonesia, and I want your sacrifice to be an example for this nation, "he said.
"This country is built by blood and tears. The struggle was not limited to words, but the sacrifice was manifested by real actions for the NKRI. And I will continue to fight for you, "he said.
